Airports in Belarus: Major Airports and Flight Information

✈️ Brest✈️ Minsk✈️ Mogiljow

Minsk National Airport (MSQ) serves as the undisputed hub of Belarusian air traffic and is the country’s primary international hub. As the home base of the national airline Belavia, it plays a central role in all commercial flight connections and is the most important point of entry for travelers arriving in Belarus by air. Thanks to a modern terminal structure and extensive handling capacities, the airport is designed to efficiently manage passenger traffic and serves as an indispensable lifeline for connections to the remaining international flight routes.

In contrast, Mogilev Airport (MVQ) is a significantly smaller, regionally oriented facility that plays a specific, complementary role within the Belarusian air transport infrastructure. It primarily serves regional purposes and is less geared toward high-volume international scheduled flights than the capital’s airport. While Minsk connects the entire country to the global aviation network, Mogilev tends to meet local or specialized needs and thus offers a functional alternative for the eastern region of the country, though it does not match the scale or frequency of the capital’s hub.
